Roof & Gutter Cleaning
Those black streaks are algae growing on your roof, not just staining it. Soft washing removes the growth without pressure, protecting the surface underneath.
Our Method
Low pressure, patient chemistry
We apply a soft-wash solution, give it time to work, and neutralize overspray around plants and pools as we go. Low pressure throughout, and we keep foot traffic off the surface. If a roof section cannot be cleaned safely, we tell you before we start.
A roof is the most expensive surface on the property, and the method matters as much as the result. High pressure can displace shingle granules and crack tile, which is why roofing manufacturers publish care guidance for cleaning. Soft washing works with it: low pressure carries a treatment that kills the growth, and the rain does the rinsing. The roof comes clean and stays clean for years, not months.

Why Soft Wash Is the Only Right Answer
Roofing manufacturers specify low-pressure cleaning for a reason: pressure physically removes the surface that protects your home. Our soft-wash process applies the treatment at little more than garden-hose pressure, lets the chemistry do the work, and leaves the granules, glaze, and coatings where they belong.
- No pressure damage to shingles, tile, or coatings
- Treats the algae itself, so streaks stay gone for years
- Care standards aligned with manufacturer requirements

Shingle, Tile & Metal, Each Done Right
Central Florida roofs come in every material, and each one fails differently when cleaned wrong. Asphalt shingle sheds granules, barrel tile cracks underfoot, and metal panels scratch and streak. We match solution strength, dwell time, and walking protocol to the material on your roof, not a one-size process.
- Material-specific solutions and dwell times
- Tile walked correctly or cleaned from the edge and lift points
- Metal roofs cleaned without scratching or streaking the finish

Gutter Cleaning
Clogged gutters overflow onto fascia, stain walls, and dump water at your foundation. We clear the interiors, flush the downspouts, and brighten the exterior faces so the gutter line looks as good as it works.
- Interior clearing and downspout flushing
- Exterior gutter brightening for the black streaks
- Debris hauled away, not left in the beds

Roof & Gutter Cleaning FAQs
What are the black streaks on my roof?
A cyanobacteria called gloeocapsa magma, which feeds on the limestone in shingles. It spreads downhill with rain, which is why streaks run vertically. It is a living growth, and treating it is the only way to actually remove it.
Will cleaning damage my roof?
Not the way we do it. Soft washing uses very low pressure and lets the treatment do the work, which is the method roofing manufacturers themselves call for. Pressure washing a roof is the damaging approach, and we do not do it.
How long does a roof cleaning last?
Typically a few years before streaks begin returning, depending on shade, tree cover, and humidity around the home. Homes under heavy oaks re-grow faster than open lots, and we will give you an honest expectation for yours.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we have access, water, and pets are secured. We photograph the roof before and after and send you the results the same day.
